The date for this year’s “Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities”, aka – the Tootsie Roll Drive – is set for October 6 – 8.  Expect a call in September to sign up to sell tootsie rolls to raise money for local organizations that serve those with intellectual disabilities.  Captains are coordinating manning the following locations:  Econo Foods (Pat Spice), Walmart[1] (Mike Bennett), Walmart[2] (Tom Phelps), Shopko (Sam Trebilcock), Monettes (Brian Brouliette), and Super One (Tim Chartier).  Please serve a couple hours at one of these locations.

Our council has a proud tradition of selling (we’ve been #1 in the UP for several years).  Let’s make this another great year!
